Llansteffan Carnival
It stopped raining just long enough this year (2008)- and last year! But honest, normally it's blazing sunshine for the procession while the eating and entertainment goes on well into the early hours.
The Carnival itself is the culmination of a week of activities raising money for good causes. This includes the infamous Llansteffan 5-mile Fun Run which takes you up round the Castle and includes a good mile and a half on the sand. Who dares wins! Who's got heart trouble, don't!
