Tim Lyn and Nannw Jones took over The Village Stores in Llansteffan in 2006 after it had spent many years in decline. It is now at the centre of life in the buzzing village of Llansteffan in beautiful West Wales.
We sell daily papers, fine local foods including Carmarthenshire ham, bacon, cheeses
and butter. Our breads and buns are baked locally and our vegetables and fruit are fresh, local produce. Our beers and wines are specially selected to go
with your food. We stock a full range of Welsh produce, including laver bread, cockles, preserves and
delicacies, as well as groceries, household goods and all the last minute things you've forgotten in town.
If you don't have the time to cook yourself, why
not try some of the
delicious meals we prepare in our kitchens to take home with
you. Home made Lasagne, Boeuf Bourgignon, Quiche Lorraine and Normandy tarts are just some of our specialities.
If you're just peckish, call in for a coffee and a bacon roll. Or choose your own sandwich from the salads, cheeses, hams and pickles in our chilled area.
Our philosophy is that such a splendid setting deserves the best food, fine wines and excellent company - so call in to see us. And if you fancy staying, we're currently refurbishing our rooms so call for availability on 01267 241888.
